Simon loves books. He loves them so much, he decides to build a house made of books. Simon works hard, stacking book after book, until he has the perfect cosy home—a house made of poems and pictures, stories and songs.

Simon is very happy in his new home—until one day, a neighbour stops by to borrow a book. Before long, everyone wants to borrow a book from Simon—and the little house starts to look a bit wobbly.
