Love Among The Sakura tells the story of Tafui (Mkale) Le, who appears to be an African American woman known for her award-winning graphic artistry, novel writing, and repute as an internationally acclaimed kendo sensei. She is invited to Tokyo, Japan, to assist in developing a new graphic design company, The Aki No Rio Group.
Soichiro Toshibana is introduced as a wealthy Japanese entrepreneur, educated in England and America, who awaits Tafui's arrival. However, in reality, he is a crown prince from the planet Zelania in the galaxy of Thezulian, and Tafui is in fact his fated princess.
This couple encounters three significant challenges as they move toward their destiny. Tafui is Soichiro's destined Zelanian mate and long-lost lover, yet she is unaware of her true alien identity. Their shared involvement spans over four hundred Earth years, filled with turbulence. Most importantly, they must undergo three rites before their life-mate covenant is sealed.
